position yourself!

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord . . . Jeremiah 29:11

We’re in year eight here on New Day! It all started right here on the blog, and we’re grateful for the vision and grace and plans that have brought us to this point. So . . . happy anniversary, New Day!

God the Lord has so much in store for us and you this year! His plans are great and beyond what we could ask or think. Want to know how to access the abundance that awaits? Get in position! Proactively stand ready to receive what He’s promised you. Stay in the Word, stay “prayed up,” and cling to God with all you’ve got! And remember: Staying close to God means staying away from distractions that keep you from living for God fully. Tune your spiritual ears to hear how He is leading you and pruning you, if you will. These are ways to get and stay in position to access the blessings God will pour out!

Personally, I’ve set a few goals for this year—for my health, finances, growth and learning, and work and service. All are surrendered to Him, and I’m trusting God for the exceeding abundantly above (Ephesians 3:20). This is not my year, but His. I don’t have a word for the year but THE Word. Ready, watching, and in expectancy of the great things our mighty God will do! Forward in faith in 2023!

The doors of the church are open! If God is calling you to salvation—to a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ—please answer yes! Life abundant and life eternal await. We’re praying for you!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

    Happy Anniversary!

What a wonderful blog. Very uplifting.
    I love the statement:
“Staying close to God means staying away from distractions that keep you from living for God fully.”
Such a great reminder to lay aside every weight that can so easily distract us from His glory.

    Congratulations!
